The service is divided into three stages:
- When you agree the lease, hire our finance to attend the premises and physically examine the machinery, confirm the model and serial number, take detailed photographs of the machinery and the machine plate. This ensures that the make model and serial number will always be correct on any agreement and should the machine not have a plate with a serial number we will attach one.
- We deal with the recovery of the equipment either from the customer or any enforcement or liquidator agent.
- We then enter the items into our online auction and once the sale has been completed we forward the proceeds together with a report.
What Is The Cost To Us?
The attendance to photograph and list the machinery is a set fee of £350.00 plus vat, if we are given five in the same area at one time we discount the bulk instruction to all five for £1000.00 plus vat. As most machinery has a value of thousands our service will more than pay for itself.
For this service to work fully all you have to do is serve the termination notices every time the borrower fails to make a payment and we will do the rest.
If you have large amounts in danger, we can provide a hand delivery service of termination notices, this is an additional service but if you incorporate a charge for service into your agreements this can be recovered from the hirer if he wants to bring his arrears up to date.
The cost of recovering the machinery etc. will vary depending on the equipment you require and the cost of disconnection etc..
When we sell the equipment we will repay to you £100.00 of the initial fee out of our costs and charges.
