Corporate Auctions can also provide a desktop appraisal where the client may not require at the time of enquiry a site visit. We can, providing information and specifications are provided by the client or third party, value on the assumption that the equipment and itemised list are in good working order.

We can provide an easy-to-follow appraisal report based on the following:

  • Auction value / forced sale value: this represents the highest value the property, sold at a recent prior online auction, either by ourselves or other auctioneers selling similar items that has been realised, taking into consideration elements such as location, condition and age.
  • Auction tender value: this represents the value that may be realized in a negotiated sale between a willing seller and willing buyer up to  a six-month time period.
  • Fair market value: this represents the highest value that may be realised in the open market, with no time constraints and willing buyers.

For each appraisal report a Corporate Auctions director will meet with the client to ensure all parties agree and understand on what basis the assets will be valued to ensure that if our clients wish us to proceed on disposal any action that follows is with both parties prior agreements.
