Corporate Auctions specialises in general online auctions which can regularly feature everything from small items of precious jewellery to 40 foot trailer units – and everything in between. Our clients range from small traders to medium scale businesses/importers to large national and multi-national companies.
Timed & Live Auctions
Online auctions come in two main flavours: timed auctions and live auctions. The key difference between the two is that in a live auction each lot is offered one-at-a-time without overlap and bidding time per-lot may be a matter of minutes; in a timed auction lots may be ending at the same time, and bidding may have begun many hours or days prior.

Know Your Customers | Flexibility
Traditionally, general auctions are held on-site and during the day (i.e. between 10am-6pm, Mon-Fri) in order to suit the auction company themselves. This means bidders must be free to attend during some, or all of the normal working day.
At Corporate Auctions we understand that customers need more flexibility; hence our auctions are completely online and the first end-time is 8pm. In our experience, based on years of online auction refinement and customer feedback, customers prefer evening online auctions whereby they are able to bid from the comfort of their own home.
Going The Extra Mile | Detail | Trust
Another tradition/requirement is for bidders to physically visit and inspect the lots they wish to bid on. While this may be a necessity with old fashioned auction houses, Corporate Auctions again breaks with tradition by providing a wealth of photography and written copy which fully describes every lot in detail – including any known faults. This information is uploaded to the online auction Web site, and bidders can then see/read everything about the item(s) they are bidding on without leaving their computer. This even empowers casual internet users to make swift decisions to register for our auctions and place bids, which traditionally they would not wish or be able to due to their location and/or lack of information.
